After qualifying in 1987, Javed started his journey into physiotherapy as physiotherapist for Queensbury Rugby League, this was soon followed by becoming Head Physiotherapist at Gillingham FC in 1989.
After seven years at Gillingham FC, Javed teamed up with the England manager, Graham Taylor, and took over as Head Physiotherapist and Head of Medical Department at Watford FC. After a 2-year spell at Watford, Javed was invited to join the sports injury team at the prestigious London Independent Hospital as their specialist spinal physiotherapist where he continued to work with elite athletes and lecture on the MSc course in sports and exercise medicine.
After a 6-year spell at the London Independent Hospital Javed went Back to Gillingham FC and took over as Head of the Medical Department. Besides working at Rainham Physiotherapy centre, Javed travels to Pakistan on a regular basis to work with elite athletes helping them to overcome injuries and setting up injury prevention programmes for all sports.
